Room #11- Michelle Lee Designs


As the owner and award-winning lead designer for Michelle Lee Designs in Johnston, Rhode Island, Michelle has worked on interior design projects for commercial and residential clients across the country.  Michelle graduated from the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale.  She started her interior design firm in 2004.  Michelle Lee Designs offers the talent and resources to ensure creative and functional solutions combined with excellent service.  Michelle Lee Designs has the ability to use a variety of vendors to meet budgetary and aesthetic concerns with quality products for projects. Michelle has the comprehensive experience in space planning, project management and contractor relations. Design and Construction Management can manage your project from concept to proposal to completion. Each unique design reflects the lifestyle and thoughtful interpretation of the client’s vision. The initiation of every design is rooted in the desire to create an environment that is intimate in personality and considerate in execution.

In the past year, Michelle has been exploring abstract painting and mixed media, creating unique personalized pieces of art for some of her commercial and residential clients.  Her playful use of color and texture is seen both in her design work and in her paintings.



Room #12- Kyra and RISD CE


Kyra Chomak Lawton has a Bachelor of Architecture from Cornell University, Ithaca, NY. She is a two time Eidlitz traveling fellowship recipient and studied in Europe & Scandanavia. She earned an MBA in entrepreneurship through a certificate program at Boston University. Kyra worked in architecture firms in Boston and San Francisco. Her interior design career began at the Orlando Diaz Ascuy design studio and her love of product design blossomed at William-Sonoma as part of the design team who launched Pottery Barn Kids. As a designer & entrepreneur, Kyra founded two architecture & interior design firms: Lawton Design Studio & Kyra Ayn Home -both primarily focus on residential and K-8 school interiors. Acting as lead interior designer for the past 16 years, Kyra has a particular passion for kitchen & bath design and whimsical family friendly spaces. She is also a licensed Realtor which helps her find the perfect home for her clients to renovate and call their own.  Kyra also founded and is the creative director for the running inspired lifestyle brand Women Run Inc.

Kyra lives with her three children in South Dartmouth, MA.




Room #13 –  Kim & Bath Splash


Kimberley Valente is an interior designer who is passionate about creating spaces that reflect her client’s lifestyle and personality. With over a decade of experience in the industry, she has developed an eye for transforming both homes and offices. She knows the importance of listening to her clients and takes the time to understand their vision for the project. She enjoys finding creative solutions to help budget-conscious clients design their dream spaces.

Kim graduated from Endicott College with a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design and started her career at an architectural firm in Providence. She then moved on to an interior design firm in San Diego where she worked on both commercial and residential projects. In 2013, Kimberley launched Brick + Beam Studio based in Westerly, RI. In addition to providing design services to local clients she also works with clients around the country via her online design services.




Room #14 – Kendra


"Kendra Chatterley is a local to Rhode Island. After graduating from St. Mary’s Academy Bay View, she completed her bachelor’s degree in Interior Design from Wentworth Institute of Technology, Boston. Her background includes work in both commercial and residential applications, with a specialty in cabinetry design.

As a company, she looks/seeks to bring interior design to the everyday person. With services based on an hourly rate and no product markup, her goal as a designer is sharing her passion for what she does with every client she works with.

As a designer with a background in hospitality design and various levels of residential design, I always found myself coming back to the homeowners. Whether someone is buying, selling, or looking to rediscover their current home, I am privileged to help them find the potential in their surroundings."




Room #15-  RIKB


Prudence Stoddard, Director of Design CKD, CAPS, UDCPAs Rhode Island Kitchen & Bath’s Director of Design

Prudence is at ease designing in any style ranging from traditional to contemporary. Keeping a constant eye on design trends, she understands the small nuances that turn design elements into statement-making styles. Her strong technical knowledge –from plumbing to installation – allows her to guide her clients throughout the remodel process. She is passionate at helping clients create one-of-a-kind spaces that are not only functional and beautiful, but complements their needs and lifestyles. A graduate of Rhode Island School of Design with a certificate in interior design, Prudence spent eight years teaching their certificate courses in kitchen and bath design. She holds the Certified Kitchen Designer (CKD) designation, is a Certified Aging-in-Place Specialist (CAPS), is a UDCP (Universal Design Certified Professional) and is a member of the National Kitchen and Bath Association.


Rose Champagne, Design Consultant, CAPS, UDCP

Rose has a distinct niche at Rhode Island Kitchen & Bath – assisting clients in designing functional solutions to overcome mobility and aging challenges. As a visionary, Rose has the unique capability of walking into a space and visualizing the possibilities to transform the room – no matter the budget or time frame. She enjoys designing kitchens, baths and other areas of a home to make her client’s everyday lives easier. Rose entered the design field after 20 years in retail design and visual merchandising. Her artistic eye for visual displays and her customer service skills have allowed her to make her client’s kitchen and bath dreams a reality. Rose is a Certified Aging-in-Place Specialist (CAPS) and has been with RIKB since 1998.


Billie Senzek, Design Consultant

Bringing over 10 years of design experience to Rhode Island Kitchen & Bath, Billie has inspired and excited her clients with her enthusiastic and gifted approach to design. Along with her eye for detail, her unique and creative talent, and her experience working for kitchen design centers at various lumberyards has resulted in her impeccable reputation to create functional spaces that delight. Billie's specialties range from kitchen and bath remodels to new construction, to Aging in Place projects, which incorporate every aspect of design. Her passion for people and design is evident in all that she does and is the cornerstone of her success.
